Transitioning from investments into real estate is a natural choice for Kathy. Originally natives of Kansas City, Missouri, Kathy and her husband, Chet, an insurance professional, moved into the Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks area with their three children in 1990. After graduating college, their two daughters settled down in the Conejo Valley with their husbands and children, while their son visits from Kansas with his wife and two little ones several times a year. Kathy and Chet now have eight grandchildren: five boys, three girls.

 

With such a large family living in the area, Kathy is "absolutely invested in this community." She lists among her civic activities: Westlake Village - Thousand Oaks Chamber of Commerce; Chamber "Leadership Conejo"; Vice President, Women's Council of the Conejo Valley; New West Symphony League member; and annual docent volunteer for the Wellness Community´s Holiday Homes Tour.
